Estos días se cumplen 26 años de la fundación de Izquierda Independiente y sinceramente creo que el balance de estos años ha sido positivo. Un trabajo realizado con cariño y responsabilidad hacia nuestro pueblo, tanto cuando hemos estado en el gobierno como cuando hemos estado en la oposición.

No soy partidario de que se engañe a nadie, menos aún desde la acción política, por lo menos conscientemente. Es difícil gobernar, pero hay que hacerlo con la honestidad y trasparencia que la gente se merece. Y ahí tenemos que lamentar la política que ha hecho durante el pasado 2024  el gobierno local del Partido Popular, con la alcaldesa Lucía Fernández al frente. Ella y su partido llegaron a la alcaldía después de unos años de nefasto gobierno del dúo Narciso Romero y Martín Perdiguero. Llegaron prometiendo soluciones inmediatas a los grandes problemas y un cambio de actuación y no hemos tenido ni una cosa ni la otra.

La pretendida mejora de la limpieza urbana no ha llegado aún y no creemos que llegue ni con el nuevo contrato, ya que a este gobierno, como al anterior del PSOE, le falta valentía para enfrentarse a las grandes empresas que gestionan lo contratos públicos Por eso me enfada cuando leo afirmaciones del gobierno diciendo que el nuevo contrato permitirá aumentar la plantilla de la empresa de limpieza. Y lo hago porque si no han sido capaces de exigir a la empresa que garantizara el número mínimo de empleados exigido en el anterior contrato, cómo van a asegurar que lo aumenten. Izquierda Independiente, como ha pasado en otros temas, fue el único partido que denunció, antes y ahora, esta situación. Por desgracia pagaremos más pero los resultados serán iguales.

También se ha mantenido igual la política de festejos. Las promesas de reducción que prometió el PP han quedado en nada. Y no sólo eso, van en aumento inventando tradiciones como los “encierros blancos” de enero, que costarán cientos  de miles de euros de nuestros vecinos y vecinas mientras quitan dinero a educación, la mejora de  centros escolares o deportivos y siguen quedándose niños y niñas sin beca de comedor por “falta de presupuesto”.

Sin embargo, lo que sí tiene claro el equipo de gobierno de Lucía Fernández es que tienen que agradar a su “jefa”, la presidenta Isabel Díaz Ayuso, por encima de los intereses de los vecinos y vecinas de San Sebastián de los Reyes. Por eso permiten que empresas constructoras hagan negocio con pisos, como los del Plan Vive, con el patrimonio público de todos y todas. Unos pisos que tendrían que ser públicos y que al final se ha demostrado que, como decíamos y denunciamos desde Izquierda Independiente, de asequibles no tenían nada. 1.300 euros al mes no es un alquiler asequible por mucho que la maquinaría de propaganda del PP así lo afirme. Al nefasto y especulativo Plan Vive se suma ahora la intención de permitir reconvertir oficinas en viviendas para alegría de los grandes propietarios de estos edificios. No teníamos bastante con la proliferación sin control de locales convertidos en infraviviendas, que ahora pretenden seguir especulando. Aún y así, lo más preocupante está por venir ya que la alcaldesa y su gobierno acaban de aprobar traspasar a la Comunidad de Madrid varias parcelas de suelo municipal para que sean entregadas a empresas constructoras para sus negocios De nuevo hablan de alquiler asequible, pero ya sabemos que para ellos alquiler asequible son los 1300 euros del Plan vive. Para la mayoría de los vecinos y vecinas de Sanse y de sus jóvenes esto es inasumible y seguirán sin poder acceder a una vivienda.

Son muchas las promesas incumplidas por el Partido Popular de San Sebastián de los Reyes, algunas son escandalosas como el problema de APADIS y la demanda que el gobierno mantiene contra ellos en una clara traición a las familias de las personas discapacitadas que esta asociación atiende. Otra  de sus promesas fue el cambio de codificación de los aviones y el ruido que provocan, pero ahora ya no quieren solucionar el problema que generó el anterior alcalde socialista Narciso Romero. Y no lo quieren hacer para no perjudicar a la misma urbanización que quiso beneficiar el alcalde socialista. Por cierto, sigue siendo increíble que Narciso Romero siga siendo concejal y que su partido no haya pedido responsabilidades por su actuación.

Sin duda la lista de incumplimientos y mala gestión municipal de este 2024 es larga, pero también quiero poner en valor las propuestas que desde Izquierda Independiente hemos realizado desde la oposición. Mejora de barrios como el de Silvio Abad, Chaparral, Zaporra, Tempranales, Los Arroyos, Dehesa Vieja y del resto de zonas  que necesitan, en mayor o menor medida, de una actuación e intervención urgente. También hemos solicitado la mejora del alumbrado público, de la movilidad y seguridad vial, máxime cuando se han producido accidentes y atropellos graves, mejora de las instalaciones escolares y mayor atención a mayores y jóvenes. Y, por supuesto, seguimos con nuestra apuesta decidida y urgente por la vivienda municipal y que realmente tenga precios asequibles y sin especulación, a través de la Empresa Municipal del Suelo y la Vivienda, con el objetivo de que las familias y los jóvenes puedan seguir viviendo en Sanse. Este año también hemos pedido una mejora y refuerzo de la organización del ayuntamiento para conseguir que nuestros vecinos y vecinas tengan rápida y mejor atención, una solución definitiva al conflicto con APADIS que garantice la asistencia y atención a los menores y mayores con discapacidad y hemos realizado decenas de propuestas para mejorar el trasporte público tanto dentro del municipio como hacia Madrid y las localidades cercanas. Nuestra última propuesta ha sido la presentada en el  último pleno del 2024 y que ha sido aprobada por todos los partidos: abrir comedores escolares en los institutos de educación secundaria. Algo muy necesario para muchas familias ya que estamos hablando de menores de 11 a 16 años. Ahora es responsabilidad de la alcaldesa ponerlas en marcha y que no se convierta en otro de sus muchos compromisos incumplidos. Estos son sólo algunos de los ejemplos de nuestro trabajo diario para nuestros vecinos y vecinas.

Por otro lado, también hemos hecho muchas denuncias públicas, y judiciales. A veces de cosas grandes como evitar un crematorio de cadáveres al lado de viviendas, y otras problemas o deficiencias pequeñas pero muy importantes para las personas que los sufren, con el objetivo de defender los derechos de nuestra ciudad y el bienestar y la mejora de la vida de sus gentes, porque son nuestra gente.

Lo hemos hecho en 2024, y en los 26 años anteriores, y lo  seguiremos haciendo en 2025, porque las personas que formamos Izquierda Independiente tenemos claro y no nos olvidamos POR QUÉ LUCHAMOS.
