El hospital Infanta Sofía y la Comisaría Nacional de Alcobendas y San Sebastián de los Reyes reciben el premio de la Paz a los valores humanos 2022. El galardón lo ha concedido las Hermandad de Nuestra Señora de la Paz en su tradicional gala anual.

Respecto al centro sanitario de referencia de la Comunidad de Madrid la distinción reconoce el trabajo y la labor realizada por los profesionales de este centro sanitario durante los peores meses de la pandemia Covid-19.
El Director Gerente del Hospital, D. Antonio Romero Plasencia, ha recogido este reconocimiento que ha agradecido en nombre de todos los sanitarios que “continúan trabajando con esfuerzo para vencer esta pandemia que dentro de mes y medio cumplirá dos años”. Según palabras del propio Gerente, “se adaptaron y reordenaron espacios, se modificó la forma de llevar a cabo la actividad asistencial y hasta se convirtió en un hospital monográfico de Covid en los peores meses“.
